College Planning and Development Council (CPDC)

SVSSC GOVERNMENT DEGREE COLLEGE,

SULLURPETA , TIRUPATI(DIST) .

Constitution of CPDC:-  The Principal concerned will be chairperson of the council , he will nominate the member in the constitution from the staff council of the college. Senior Lectures will be selected as members of council.  The member will elect the convener of the CPDC.Two year will be the term for the council. The membership will be ceased if they are transferred or retired during the period. The New Principal will be the chairman for the council. Students of the parents will also be elective member of the CPDC . The parents will look the membership automatically when the students complete the course. The vacancies of the parent members will be filled from time to time, by the Principal.

Objectives:-

1. To create a mechanism for the community participation in the planning and development of the college, as per the names of the council.
2. To create a mechanism where the public contributions can be mobilised for the development activities 
3. The council will give suggestions to introduce the relevant course to be introduced to the college based on the needs of the area to improve the quality of education.
4. One more objective of the council is to create right climate for the academic, cultural and social activities for the benefit of students.
5. To act as a platform between the community and college for mutual benefit. 

Power and fraction of CPDC:- 

1. To work for the furtherance of the objective of the CPDC as mentioned.
2. To manage the CPDC and to decide admission of members as and when the vacancies have created .
3. To maintain separate account for CPDC in the nationalised bank to operate the money  matter for the development activities.
4. To generate spate CPDC funds to utilise the fund.
5. To prepare a deviated plan, with annual budgetary allocation for college development activities .
